Environment

Banyoles is the capital of the Pla de l’Estany, in the center of the province of Girona. The town of Banyoles is small, with an area of 10.89 km². To the north is the Madre de Déu del Mont to west Rocacorba. Surrounded by mountains, except the south where you see Cornella del Terri direction to Girona City.

Besalú is a town of the district of Girona, located at 150 meters from the see and which has a stretch of 4.81 km². As its name suggests, Bisuldunum was a fortress between two rivers: the Fluvià at the south and the Capellades from the north. It enjoys good communication when in the intersection of three regions: Alt Empordà, Pla de l’Estany and Garrotxa.

Bosc de Can Ginebreda – Porqueres
